The patented Tri Camp Stand solves the problem of levelling your skottelbraai.
But, the oil always runs to one side of the skottel. Also, you have to look for something to put under your gas bottle before starting to cook.
The Skottel® braai originated from South African farmers using a ploughshare (ploegskaar) over a fire to cook an outdoor meal. It makes such a handy addition to any camping outfit. Similarly, the Tri Camp Stand is also designed and made by a South African.
The 3-legged design of the Tri Camp Stand solves this levelling problem beautifully. It features a swivel ball that will keep a skottelbraai, cooker top, grill or pan level, especially on uneven terrain. It is easy to assemble, just clip the gas braai into the tripod. The height of the ball can be adjusted to suit different gas cylinder sizes. Furthermore. the gas bottle acts as a counterweight to level the braai. Apart from the stand, an extra pipe is supplied to hold and secure a satellite dish or light.
The stand of powder-coated aluminium legs and sturdy plastic fittings and can be fully disassembled to fit into its carry bag making storage and transportation easy.
