The standout feature of this range is the high-strength carabiner end-fitting. Unlike standard J-hooks, the carabiner features a spring-loaded gate that snaps shut around your anchor point. This ensures that even if the strap loses tension momentarily during a rough transit, the hardware remains firmly attached. Combined with our signature high-tensile polyester webbing, these straps provide peace of mind for hauling expensive equipment or navigating difficult terrain.

Available configurations

We offer these specialized tie-downs in two sizes to suit your specific hauling needs:

• 25mm Width: This option is perfect for lighter loads and everyday transport. It provides a compact footprint and is easy to store, making it a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts and DIYers.
• 35mm Width: For heavier equipment or loads requiring a higher break strength, the 35mm variant offers increased stability and a more robust ratchet mechanism for maximum leverage.
• Strap lengths: Both the 25mm and 35mm versions are available in 3-meter and 5-meter lengths equipped with carabiner fittings. The 3-meter length is excellent for tight bakkie loads and motorcycles, while the 5-meter length provides the necessary reach for larger cargo and trailers.

Lashing capacity vs. breaking force

Safety is about knowing your limits. We use industry-standard ratings to ensure you and your cargo stay safe:

• Lashing capacity (LC): This is the safe, allowable force for regular daily use. For example, a 680daN LC means the strap is rated to safely secure a 680 kg (0.68ton) load under normal transit conditions.
• Breaking force: This is the absolute maximum tension the equipment can endure before failure. A strap with a 2000daN breaking force will snap at approximately 2000kg (2 tons).
• How to choose: Always choose your strap based on the Lashing Capacity for maximum security. The breaking force provides a critical safety buffer.
